ELA B10: Word quiz, photo essay and narration example, work time on assignment…
- Students wrote their first (of two) quiz(zes) today on the commonly misspelled words we reviewed on Monday.
- I showed them an example of a photo essay and let them listen to a narrative I wrote for a Remembrance Day Ceremony this last year. They had this class to work on the new assignment, which was to write three paragraphs from the first person perspective of someone who is frustrated with some issue / injustice or inequality. The students had to have written their three paragraphs before I allowed them to search on the internet to find the pictures for their photo essay.
- They agreed that next Monday seemed a reasonable time to have these completed by.
