- I handed out a short story called “The Streets of Canon” that students were to begin reading as I conferenced with each to show them their final mark and how it was determined. Some students were fairly concerned that their marks had lowered as much as some did but seemed to understand when they looked again at some of the marks from their assignments and exams.
- We read the story aloud together to get everyone on track and discussed it briefly. It will be significant for those who are going to be writing the final.
