I was looking for a timeline app or online site and found exactly what I was looking for! You can add in time events in random order and it sorts them into chronological order. It asks for a title and you can add in a written description. Then you get an embed link and can keep or share the timeline you create. Have a look. I think it will be quite useful!
Well, it was a long journey but our Sr. Girls Basketball team has brought home a beautiful new banner for our gymnasium, which is fitting as it will be posted up above their new hardwood gymnasium floor! The girls won their Regional Playoffs the weekend before, fighting off wins from Gladmar, Hepburn, and Kinistino. Going on to Hoopla Provincial Playoffs the weekend after, March 22 -23, they were first set to play Lake Lenore. That game was what you hope all Provincial Playoff games are – a battle for points right to the final seconds of the game. With seconds to spare and down by 4 points, the Kodiak girls managed to gain the points needed to take the lead! Next was their match against Middle Lake where the girls kept their cool, ran their plays, and displayed excellent control of the ball, resulting in a triumphant win at the end for Kenaston! It has been 14 years since the last Provincial win for Kenaston School at Hoopla; this team made it to compete in Provincials last year, with the help of two (now graduated) grade twelve players, but this time were able take more ground for the win! It is a great success story and the players themselves and their two coaches, Mr. Gene Zdunich and Ms. Jenna Zdunich, should be incredibly proud of their accomplishment! It is especially inspiring because of the young age of the majority of the players – there is only one graduating player this year and three Grade 8s, which will leave another strong team for next year. Your school is proud of you, girls! Congratulations!
We celebrated this success with a fun post-game pep rally this week. Here is the video compilation made for that occasion.
The students at Kenaston School routinely prepare entertainment to share with all the other grades on the last day of school before the Christmas Break. These two groups did an especially great job and put so much into it that they wanted to make sure it was recorded… for posterity!! See what you think!

Extra: They got off track a bit and were talking about David Blaine. I promised to let them watch a video of him (or about him) if they continued working so carefully, but they lost their focus for the last ten minutes. Here’s a link so you can watch it on your own time.
