ELA 20/30: Jan 15 Literature review with 30s; study time for 20s…

  1. The 20s were given the literature they will be referring to for their final exam. They were given direction asked to use their study time in the library wisely. They should come prepared tomorrow for a class discussion of what to review and expect for their final.
  2. The 3os and I got “cozy” with all that extra space in the classroom and got into some quick reviewing. They were given a package of literature, most of which they have read already with a few extras added that are flexible and can be used for several of the topics. We reviewed each story/poem in the package, discussed it and were reminded of the conflict or theme, and then listed for each which of the sub units they would fit into. I think through the discussion it became clear that some were more worthy of intensive review as they may be more valuable for the final. We ended by looking at the three generations of the Ryland family from the long play Mirage.  I said I would have a better review and copy of the play for them tomorrow.
