Hist 30: Mar 28 Notes, presentations, and Indian Treaties…
- I began the class with handing back a whole shwack of assignments from History and English that were handed in just prior to the report card deadline.
- We continued reading through the typed unit notes handout and had a few student presentations as we went along.
- We stopped when Indian Treaties were introduced in the notes and I described a bit of how the treaties were negotiated. We discussed why the treaties were each different and why B.C. Aboriginals did not sign treaty. This makes their lifestyles very different from Treaty Indians. That could be an exam question.
