ELA A10: Jan 17
- Students were asked to individually read through the other poem they were given the other day titled “On The Way To The Mission”. They had to follow the steps in reading poetry: read through it entirely once, find words that are unfamiliar, read through again, paraphrase each of the stanzas into your own words, etc. They also have a purple (or green maybe) sheet they’ve used all year with Poetry Questions that we’ve used with all the poems we’ve looked at. They had to complete all of this on their own to help them establish for themselves whether they’re confident in analyzing a poem for the final.
