ELA A10: Jan 11
- We read through the poem “Courage” and circled several words and wrote, in our own words, the ultimate meaning for these words. (Several of them were metaphors or had greater symbolism than the literal meaning would.) After adding these words, we reread the poem using, instead, our new words and phrases and gained a more full understanding of the poet’s meaning.
- We had questions the students worked on in class yesterday and began discussing the answers together.
