Questions for the excerpt of “My Left Foot” 

1. On the final day of school, while the excitement was all around, the students watched a video called My Left Foot.  After viewing this video, detailing the personal struggle of a man with cerebral palsy in Irelend in the 30’s, the students, today, read and excerpt of this man’s personal story written by he himself. We discused challenges that exist in the story, both physically and spiritually. The difficulty in maintaining a ‘belief’ or ‘faith’ despite the seeming lack of encouragment or reason to believe is evident here.
2. Students ended the class and discussion by trying to write their name with their feet. It was an interesting sight to see!
