MdSt 20: April 27 Bias in news videos activity…
- With half the class missing, we postponed the presentation of the Bias in News posters.
- Students watched a few clips in the projector room that looked at ellaborating on the issue of bias in the news. They watched a documentary and were to look for examples of bias in the film and examples of reporting the facts. The goal here was to differentiate between effective ways of leading the viewer’s emotions/conclusions and simply giving them informations.
I think that in the clips that we watched they do not show alot of what actually goes on in our world, (our war’s). The reasoning i think is because this would upset a lot of people if they were to no what actually wen’t on in our perfect world. people will never get along, there for there will always be war’s and finding the fastest way to iliminate a enimy comes with that. That is why they have the bombs they do, the guns that they use. Its the real world. take it in.
