ELA B30 Porphyria’s Lover poem performed…

These girls were not satisfied with their first performance of the play, so they prepared it again. (This time, Krysta wasn’t on pain-killers. lol) They did a super job. You can hear the thunder clapping in the background and watched for Nicole’s impressive “play dead” part. lol They did a great job.

This play was fun! Ew, I had no idea how horrible our outfits were until seeing this!! haha, and Krysta and Megan look like Grim Reapers all dressed in black. Thanks for posting this, it’s a lot of fun watching what you look like performing for assignments!!

    Hi Nicole,
I’m guessing your brother was still logged onto your computer with his username so it’s his name that shows up on your comment. I had to wonder at first that he would complain about his outfit. lol You girls did a wonderful job and I am glad you decided to redo it so you could give your best performance. The sound effects you included this time were great.

I like being able to include activities like these from our classes. They’re meant to get us interested in what we’re studying and have some fun with it too. So much of literature is meant to be shared, not just read or studied. Acting things out, like parts of Hamlet, are exactly what the author was intending. They likely never imagined the idea of cameras and blogs, though. lol

Thanks for your permission to post this.

I totally agree with Nicole. Our costumes were gross! Especially the wig I had to wear. Ugh! It was all gross and smelly. I’m glad we don’t have to do it again so I don’t have to wear it, but the clothes weren’t to bad because they were my dads and brothers.
